Josh's kite

Today we did arts and craft and we make a kite here is mine.

Now you mite be wanting to know how to make it?

1.make a big triangle

2.use a ruler and rule sections.

3.colour each section with pastel.

4.get some coloured paper

5.cut out some shapes.

6.glue shapes on.

7.trim the back lick picture.

8.staple feather (if you want to)

9.get some string and punch a hole at the bottom.

10.cut some tails and tape it on the string.

today i wrote an Octopoem this is it



a pirate is brown  and red
he is the winter
on a ship
he is thunderous
 a  tricorn hat
a compass
he is pirates of the caribbean
he is a bottle of rum

Zara's summarising

Today we worked on summarising in reading time. First of all we had to read the first page of what a disaster. After that we went over the page and highlighted the key words. Finally with all the key words we found we put all the words into a shorten summarise of the page.

Calib's birthday

Today is my birthday and I brought in a cookie cake. Miss Cramond cut it into 32 pieces and I shared it with the class. It tasted delicious with lots of icing on it. Today I turned 10. I celebrated my birthday a week ago by playing Xbox 360 and played on the computer. I had Pizza Hut for dinner.

ANZAChallenge

Today room 4 were involved in the ANZA Challenge. This involved everyone dressing up unsporting attire and participating in sporting activities. The year 5 and 6 children did jump jam and had a huge game of Capture the Flag. Check out some of the children in action, curtesy of James and his awesome photography skills.
