My speech by James McPherson

Yesterday I did my speech but now I'm going to blog about it. my speech included information about all four movies plus some whatnot about the upcoming part five and i have posed in this picture like I am saying my speech. sorry I forgot to say or type that  my speech is about the  pirates of the Caribbean movies. so that was mainly my speech here's a photo you can stop reading and start laughing at this. But before you do I think I did the talking part of my speech very very very  good

Athletics Day

Room 4 had a fantastic day yesterday competing in all the athletics events including High Jump, Cricketball Throw, Long Jump, Sprints and 800m. Well done to everyone! Zara, Joshua and Danielle will represent Hukanui at the Interschool Athletics next week - we wish them all the best.

HUKANUI GALA

Everyone had a fantastic time at the gala. There were so many awesome stalls to visit and wonderful performances to watch. Below is the Room 4 stall - Sponge Throwing in action.

Room 4 meet the new chickens

Today we went out to the field and the children in Room 4 had the opportunity to meet the chickens. There are 9 of them and they are just over a week old now. They were very cute and fluffy, and although they are quite tame it was challenging to be quick enough to pick them up for a cuddle. Check out some pictures below. We will catch up with the chickens in another week or so to see how much they have grown.

Grandparents Day

Thank you so much to all the grandparents of children in room 4 who came along on Friday 25 October. The children in room 4 loved sharing their work with you and creating new blogs with you in them. We hope you enjoyed your day including all the amazing performances and sights of Hukanui School that you saw.
