My Memoir by Matthew

One day when I came home from kindergarten I open the door and a dog came running to me and started licking me. I laughed because it tickled. I said to my dad who's dog is it.? Dad said to me " it is our dog. It's called missy".I said "did she miss me is that why she is called missy?" "Yes". Then I went outside to play with her. The next day we got her some yummy food and a pink collar and chewy toys. When we got home missy started to eat her food before we took her to the vet. Then we got told that she was going to have babies.

"Wake up or we will be late!" Mum yelled from the hallway. I slumped out of bed and dragged myself downstairs. "Hurry up and eat your breakfast" mum said in an annoying tone. After I inhaled my toast and cereal I flopped into my school uniform. I then leaped onto my bike with my parent's and brother we then cycled to Callum brae park to see the hot air balloons float through the early morning frost. The sunrise reflected beautifully off the hot air balloons. After watching the balloons sail further than the horizon we then made our way to school and to tell my friends about the fantastic hot air balloons.

I was on the bars looking down at the ground I was going to do a trick. I was going to do it but my friend told me not to do it with my jersey on. So I went to place my hands on the bar. But I didn't get my hands on the bar. So I fell off. All I saw was black. Then I could see. I was still on the playground. My friend Dylan said I was knocked out. This changed me because now I am careful on bars.

When I sat on the plastic coloured seat my whole body started to shake and my lips trembled. "There's no going back now"said my mum. I put the tight belt on. What if I fall? Bad thoughts started to surround my brain. Before I even noticed "screech! " the crank turned sideways. I closed my eyes tightly and sweat came dripping down my forehead. "Ahh! "I screamed and nearly lost my voice. I don't like the loops and going upside down. I waited for it to stop. "Roller-coasters are freaky" I murmured.

This changed me because now I'm more confident going on rides .
