Maeroa kapa Haka group visit

Today we watched Maeroa Intermediate preform their kapa Haka performance. They started with a welcoming song then they sung a song that started quiet then got very Loud!!! Then the leaders said a speech about their competition and how they are going to Tauranga to perform at the Nationals. We thought they were awesome because they did all their actions in time and they showed pride in their performance. We liked how they made faces and pulle Puranas. They used pois too.

    We had a great discussion about what the group did that made their performance so memorable. These included staying in time with each other, and using loud, strong voices. Room 4 you were great audience members. Ka pai!
